Jennifer
Cyra is a global leader and the founder of Cynamen Advisors, Inc., a
consulting firm specializing in growth strategies and profitability
improvements for companies. Leading business transformations in Fortune 500 international retail, digital and business-to-business companies for over 25 years, Jennifer's background includes strategy, integration, merchandising, private brand growth, product development and global sourcing with international experiences in Asia, Europe and Canada.
As Senior Vice President at Office Depot, Jennifer led a significant business transformation during the merger with OfficeMax, building channel category strategies for retail, digital and wholesale as well as designing a new organization and delivering rapid synergy savings for the enterprise.
Prior to this, Jennifer held the role of Senior Vice President at OfficeMax responsible for the sales and profit performance of a multi-billion dollar business with retail, digital and wholesale channel distribution, including private brand product development and global sourcing functions. Before joining OfficeMax, Jennifer was Vice President-GM for Sears Holdings Corporation and has over 20 years of apparel experience.
Jennifer serves on the Board of Directors for Chicago Dramatists and as a strategic advisor and member of the Board of Directors for the Illinois Diversity Council. She volunteers as a mentor for Step Up and the Women Unlimited LEAD executive development program, and is a member of international Women's Forum, Chicago chapter. Jennifer is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
